Internal resources are a vital part of any HR transformation – and we’ve seen that more clearly than ever during COVID. But deploying people to work on transformation alongside their day job comes with pitfalls. How do you manage someone who is effectively doing the company a favour? And how do you support them in balancing the demands of the transformation with their everyday responsibilities? 

We asked HR and transformation leaders at six major companies to share their stories. All of them have gone through transformation in the last 18 months and have had to draw on internal resources, asking existing employees to juggle transformation projects with their day jobs.
